Hello,

This is weird writting like a newbie. I'm a former Z32 owner of 5 years and just recently won a V36 in the Jap auctions. Still in the process of getting it here and already I have a list of mods and questions. Feel free to give me your opinions, questions and advice. This is a totaly new car for me so even though I have car experience none with this baby.

I purchased a 2007 V36 Auto Premium model with 102,000k's

Plans for it's arrival. In the following order

1. New Tyres if required - 225/45/18 F 245/40/18 R Khumo Ku31

2. Alarm system

3. Tinting darkest legal

4a. Service with synthetic oil, all new fluids including radiator, power steering, brake fluid, gearbox and diff oil change and install magnetic drain plug to engine sump.

4b. Replace jap buttons on dash - Is there a thread for how to do this?

5.Eibach Pro-kit springs (25mm drop) and Hotchkis sway bars (interesed to hear opinions if these are need with this car for road use. I've read these chassis are already very good and I my be wasting money on sway bars?)

6. Infinity stoptec brakes and rotors on all four to stop on a dime and look tough if nothing else

7. Wheel spacers on stock rims with engineering cert. to get rims closer to flush, mayber 15mm don't want to go rediculous? Will also improove grip with the additiona 30mm track.

8. K&N drop in filters

9. Invidia cat back system with Kenetix racing cats

10. Transmittion cooler upgrade (is this need for road use in QLD?)

11. Dyno tune - can these cars be tuned in stock mode or is a piggy back or flash chip needed

As I do these I will start a tread or post in DIY.

So excided, stupid slow boats, comon car get here :)

Max.

Hello,

I too just got my car on auction from Japan. I got a 2007 V36 Auto SP Sedan with 36,000kms

1) I have paid for a Stillen Gen 3 Ultra Long Intake

2) Getting Eibach Pro KIt Springs

3) Hotchkis sway bars (highly recommended by alot of V36 owners. They said to make this the number 1 priority over other mods)

4) Grounding kit, have not found one yet. Someone suggested transgo shift. Not too sure if I'll go that way. Alot of money to be spent.

5) Alarm & tyres would be done on compliance. Looking at getting Yokohama S-drives or advan sport

Wheel spacers seem like a good idea, might look into that.

Am told the car runs rich from factory and a tune might help. Still unsure about how the tuning gets done.

Update you as I go (if I remember :P)
