187 mnp iii ever made. Only non vspec and vspec. And you don't actually 'match' mnpiii, you must buy the paint straight from Nissan and only those with a mnp iii gtr vin code can purchase one.

Btw, Eugene, that image of your car looks great! I love how the purple off the side skirts flow with the car very nicely! Is that a genuine vspec and what diffuser is that!?!?

I love bb colour as well. In fact, is that my old car?

Yes Eugene it sure is :) I still remember how random we spotted each other in St Ives that day haha

I am not really a big fan of the nismo side skirts. They seem to make the gtr look too boxy and heavy. Factory exterior with maybe a little more aggressive wheels with a bit more offset will do the job just fine.

^^+1 for the nismo side skirts and definitely BB, and gotta have the ztune front to top it off!! not only more aggressive but couldnt start to explain how much cooler the car runs and engine bay temps reduced by i dare say half!!

The problem is stocker R34s have a laughable ride height but a very low front lip/diffuser. So it's a choice of dropping the ride height so that it doesn't look like a 4WD or protecting the front diffuser.

nismo apparently offered mnp3 as a respray option for customer cars. (e.g. that mnp3 z-tune)

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if a few special order nurs/vspec2 were done at the factory. if the customer threw money at nissan, i'm sure they would ahve done it. I also have read that 5 nurs were done in mnp3 from factory, but i haven't been able to confirm this.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
