I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. but personally, I think that is ugly.. (the car, not the girls..)

Don't want to detract from your dedication though.. i am sure there are many hours worth of work there!

And the standard sedan coupe nose is better how? Atleast i dont have to worry about my headlights going to absolute crap with discolouration of the lenses. But its your opinion your entitles to it.

The only reason i did it was because i had damage on all the front panels besides the bonnet and i didnt want the ugly front so i went withing the nissan FM platorm family to its closest relo the M35 stagea for a new nose

I would have done a coupe nose but i would have needed custom fenders but it just would have looked the same as the factory nose. I respect your opinion i was just pulling ya leg. Opinions are like a@#holes; everyones got one.

Nice work dude.

IMO it works, considering the rear of the sedans aren't quite like the coupes (a bit boxier?), fairly certain it will look better in person too

Just probably won't work with the coupes.

Who knows, you might actually start a new trend?

No different from people with Onevia's / Sileightys etc.

Or even the R34 front conversions for the Stags.

I think I like it... need moar pics pls! Looks like the lights were a bitch to align, or is that a test fit?

I actually like the sedan lines and haven't seen this particular front swap done before, so nice one.

I like it because it's unique, well done. I do personally think those stagea's are ugly though.

May be ugly but the rozzers ignore us. Anyone feeling irresponsible can peel off a 12-13 sec qtr in front of them & they'll turn around & book one of you P platers for dark tint, lol. Plus we can fit half of your car in the back.

Don't worry, not many of us like v35s... :P

^^^ haha

Mark, I think you've done a fine job on the Stagline. It's unique & you did it your way .

All that's left is to convert the back two thirds....

    • I'm not normally one for posting random videos, but I thought we'd all appreciate the honesty about how broken our cars tend to be lol. Genuine skyline life here.
    • New CAS just turned up from NZ Wiring. Looks like a nice bit of gear.  So, yeah. Triggered, bro. Realised I may as well do the cam belt while mucking about with it so will order one of them.
    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
