Dropbox sucks for streaming.

I'm lost for idea's. Figured if it was a head gasket it would be constant smoke? Get worse with rpm's as pressure builds up? PCV valve cleaned, made 0 difference. Although it was gunked up and rattled when i shook it (think thats normal)

Going to start taking it all apart tonight...just after i had put my sweet new -7's in :(

Anything else I should be changing while the head gasket is out?

Recommendation's on head gasket? (genuine, after market? Nismo? cometic?)

Just replace i with a standard gasket from Nissan. They aren't that expensive and are very good quality.

Get the cylinder head fully recoed while it's out. Valve regrind, stem seals, deck ect.

Get your injectors cleaned right before the head goes back on

Replace all the heater hoses

Still running stock injectors, worth spending the cash to get them cleaned?

Are there better options out their then the standard nissan gasket? While i would imagine they are good quality, I am planning on running 17-18psi boost on the -7's, would the standard gasket hold up? Or should i look at something after market?

Know any places that are reputable to get the head done? And rough costs involved?

We use stock gaskets in applications over 600hp and 30psi boost without issues.

If you do the job correctly, it will be fine

Anybody got any tips for taking the head off?

Both turbos are back out.

Cam gears and belt still on, looks like my cam timing is one or two notches out on the exhaust side...

Do people remove the head with the plenum attached? It looks like a bitch to remove the brackets hiding underneath the plenum.

Honestly surprised myself in how quick I was able to remove the turbos

Well for all those following, Heads off.

Now with the head out, I will send it off for a reco, though in the process their were some casualities. I ended up cracking it and just cutting a heater hose, and a two electrical connectors were damaged. Anybody know where to get a replacement heater hose and this particular electrical connector?

The other I am hoping to just open the connector, and solder/crimp it back down.

In the mean time I am hoping to get a neater engine bay setup, wanting to eliminate some hoses that are not required. Mostly the ones under the Plenum as they were a BITCH to get out!

Also, This wiring looks real dodgy and pox as, I don't think its standard/original wiring. Can anybody confirm? Then i will start following it up and eliminating it. Or at least making it neater.

Top hose in the pic that is broken - get it from Nissan (Usually the first place you should try)

The plug should be the same as Bosch 2 pin standard so I would try Repco etc for those. Pretty common plug. It won;t look the same but should still fit the Bosch 2 pin knock sensor.

The other wiring is anyone's guess
