Rocker Cover Seal Or Gasket?

Hi guys.

I was doing some research and i've been told that the RB25DET uses rubber seals instad of a conventional rocker cover gasket.

I found one listing for 2 rubber seals and 2 half moons and another listing for rocker cover gasket alone, which appears to be rubber.

Could someone just tell me if these two listings are actually the same part? Only one is a kit containing all the parts and one is just a single gasket.

No, NEO dont need the bolt rubbers like the other models just the 2 cam cover seals and the half moons. They are really easy to do!

i used genuine Nissan but they arent cheap!

If you have the time/money/patience you should clean and coat the covers and replace the bolts with some nice dressy ones But thats just me being anal lol

yea i cleaned mine and painted it vht black, hate that goldie silver colour on the 33's.

i did my crossover pipe too, and replaced all my rubber pipe while i was in there.... looks real perrrrrty like!

Just thought I'd show mine off.

With regard to the seals, different part numbers between Neo and standard RB25 but they are the same.

All RB's actually use the exact same seals.

I didn't do the valley cover, it was done by Andrew at AM Performance, Adelaide. It came powder-coated black. I sprayed the cam covers with VHT Wrinkle Plus.
