Greetings from Germany.

i am registered since 2010 and want to introduce myself. My name is Henri and I am 30 years old. I have one little Child (3,5y) and a great girlfriend. I think 2006 we imported an GTiR from GB to Germany and the time was born to ever drive a right hand drive car. My first RHD was a Skyline R33 GTST but only a short time later my son was born and I needed a new/bigger car. I wanted more POWER! 2009 I imported an 260RS S1 directly from Japan to Germany. Today, it is still the only one Autech version in Germany. Total are 9 legal Stagea´s in Germany and every year it is a little bit more.

Before I found your page I`ve had lots of questions. But in this great community I found the answers. Now I also want to give a little back.

Step by step I will post more about my Stagea with pics and statistics. But first a picture of my japanese car before it has been shipped to Germany.

P.S.: don`t know whether or not I`m writing in the right category. I am sorry for this and for my English ;)

Thanks for your welcome.

I have been pretty impressed when I rode this car for the first time. Only a few days later I took part in my first race.

--> see more ;)

My Stagea has always been stock. Just a MINES Exhaust, MINES ECU and 2 wheel Sets were added. Oh (I forgot)… the rust under the mirrors was included, too – unfortunately ;).

I guess at this time the Stagea had 300bhp. On the German roads my Stagea is one of the big cars. People are always laughing because of the big spoilers. But when I drive at full throttle people are surprised and I get respect. When I then also tell them that my Stagea is a Skyline in big, they are completely amazed ;)

With this setup I drove one year. But then I upgraded. More details will follow.

These are the first pics of my car in germany.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
