I ordered a second 40mm G35 Mishimoto radiator when I got mine sent over from the US, mainly to keep shipping low. If anyone is interested I am looking for what it cost me landed, $530 plus shipping to you.

It fits V35 auto and manual including the thermo fan bolting straight up, and also the Stagea M35's, with slight trimming of the fibreglass around the cap.

I will be fitting mine this weekend so I will be able to talk you through installation if needed. I have already installed on into a V35 auto without dramas. Great quality dual pass core with a lifetime warranty, perfect for FI or track work.

I take teh pity.

I have one of these Rads. It is good quality, and lowers temps significantly.

Make an offer guys. :)

I have a brand new Nismo coppermix twin plate clutch for sale (PN: 3002A-RSZ30), arguably the best street clutch available for the VQ. It comes complete with new flywheel and bolts, throw out bearing, Nismo needle roller and stock bronze bush spigot bearings. RRP is $3300, looking for $2200.

I also have two 6spd manual 350z gearboxes available with low K's, one of which has a small hole in the case. (repairable or good for spares.) PM me if interested.

Going in a different direction and keeping the slush box.

Hey Scotty do you still have this radiator? I was putting some pennies aside to buy your dump pipe for my m35 and it was meant to be a b'day present to myself (15/12) but I noticed a coolant smell the day after and guess what my top tank has a crack below the filler neck :(

You say this one fits v35 auto/manual, but looking at pics it doesn't seem to have the cooler attachments, do u need to run a seperate auto cooler? If that's the case ill just try find a super cheapy e-bay for now, so cut I really wanted that pipe now!

Yes Dave, you'll need a separate auto trans cooler. PM wagon_boy, he just replaced his and he might want to get rid of his old one (which is exactly the same B&M that I'm fitting shortly).

Cheers BigKev,

Appreciate the help, I reckon ill probably go the $300 eBay style for now, need the car safe to drive ASAP. Had $500 to spend on the dump so i thought if i could have picked up the mishi without needing extras that would be worth it. Really want to finish the exhaust system first before other mods, just fitted a Kakimoto-R cat back.

The mishimoto has trans cooler fittings built in, at least the last two I bought did. Would you like me to check?

That said, a secondary trans cooler is suggested when you start modding...

You know that's funny, mine has what I thought were trams cooler fittings too, but Mishi say manual only...

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
