New Silver Strips For The Stag

Hi guys...

Is it possible to buy new silver strips for the stag?

They're the ones that basically run along the bumpers from the front to back of the car.

Would love to see them silver and sparkling again.

If they r dull im guessing the plastic has come off. So just hit em with some polish mate. They come up a treat.

I've been inquiring about this with a few places too Tom. One thing that I've found works a treat. Grab a can of Meguires Xtreme Tyre Shine, spray it onto the end of a rag and run your finger down the strips with it. They'll glow like never before.. It wears off after a few days but looks great when detailing.

There seems to be a ton of the stuff on eBay - just pit in chrome strip.

yeah, but I'm guessing "chrome strip" wont exactly be a direct fit for a stagea??

Will try other remedies as above

The front and rear bars have chrome strip inserts in them. The door trims on the other hand do not.
