I've got a HKS super drager on the back of my exhuast. Great flow and noise level is 100% legal. Love this muffler.

I've been trying to. The last 20 images have been to big apparently

open them in paint and resize by like 50% and re save and you can upload. takes two seconds.

not allowed to open paint? wow thats extreme! yet you can get personal image on it.. hmmm...

email a few to me if you want and i'll resize and send back =)

Haha we're allowed to use paint - but the uploading is the issue.

Thanks for the offer - I've e-mailed some images back to me so I'll chop and change them this weekend and put up a new one :)

Haha your offer was very kind of you :)

It's the uploading process it seems. I put any picture up and it says it's too big. I'll give it a crack at home and if all else fails I will just have to stick bluetac on my screen with a nice cut-out photo :D

Yeah its funny, you have to play around with different sizes to get it to work.

It doesnt always work with the exact dimensions it asks for. Computers aye.

Today i blasted some speed holes through the inner guards with the welder. >_<

Whoops! No pics till i get some bog and paint to hide my shameful welding.

Well not today, but yesterday... had new rear rotors put on. Also had my car dynoed - 185.8rwkw. Not bad for a stock 1j vvti with a catback and auto .. pretty happy with that :) running quite rich though, like all Toyota's haha

may have found a manual conversion kit too

Oh wow! Wasn't expecting that. I was thinking Engine Bits not Engine Bay.

Very Nice. You still going Green? Did you see the Green GTR I posted in your Clear vs Orange indicator thread?

Ive spent hours stripping the paint, sanding and polishing my valley cover.

At first it was a bit lumpy, but ive got it good now, sanded nice and flat, just needs final polish.

Hey Rob, if you want those cam covers shiny and never have to polish again.......

Ever do metalwork at school? remember that Josco buffing compound?

Its REALLY good, very effective. you can buff it so hard even the gouges from the grinder get polished.

And then this clear adhesion promoter, and clear gloss over that, even the tie coat is glossy so you wouldnt really need more clear.

So its polished under the paint, and as you know bare alloy oxidises nearly instantly, but this cant happen now with a protective coating. And no more oil or coolant stains that take ages to buff out.

Anyway you can borrow if you want.

Sweet. Yeah that Resin stuff for the Buffing wheel in Metal Work was exactly what I thought of.

Could use this on my wheels too and get me some shiny back. ;)

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
