BBS LM 18 x 9 +20

R34 GTR 18 x 9 +30

R33 GTR 17 x 9 +30

All great options. GTR rims are forged and relatively inexpensive. Go 17s for cheaper rims, tyres, and prolly better handling but not if you think you're ever going for big brakes. Hence I sold my mint R33 GTR rims. Wish I didn't.

Maybe R33 for $1,000 and R34 for $1,800 then tyres. Not sure what change you get from $2k for good track tyres but others will point you right I'm sure.

RFP1s are a good option if your looking for something Jap, light wieght, and good quality at a good price.. i looked at some when looking for some new rims, along with the TE37s, but every Tom, Dick and prick has those rims.. so i shopped around and waited for something a bit different

Ended up buying a second hand set of LMGT4s with cheap rubber for a bit over $2500, and damn they look good if i dont say so myself :D

Nice!

Always wanted Nismo LMGT4's but car came with TE37's, so can't complain.

What sizing are your wheels?

Yea they are a fantastic wheel, light weight and massive clearance for brakes

They are 18 x 9.5 +15 offset, have some 265 yokie semi slicks going on them..

Got the wheels off another member in Melbourne :)

37s are still a good looking wheel, I was very torn between the 2.. Especially the SL's

Nice!

Do they sit flush under the guards or do they just sit in a bit?

they sit flush at the top, at the bottom they poke out a little bit as the guard rolls under the car... looks really good

will look even better with 265s on them :D

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
