M35 Triple Gauge Bulb Replacement

Hi guys

I have the triple gauge set in my m35.whenever I turn my head lights on at night only the volt gauge is lit up.does anyone know how to replace the bulbs in the torque and boost gauge?

take gauge out. pop out old bulds replace with new. check site for how to guides. think there is one on you tube.

look up g35 stereo removal. same way different car.

Thanks,I know how to pull it out now I changed me head unit the other day thanks for the suggestion.does anyone know where to get those globes?

Sure its the globes and not a loose fitting or plug due to you changing over the headunit. Was it working before this.?

I never checked it before this only picked it up Monday.so I was hoping to buy three new globes and change them early tomorrow morning

could just be a loose contact with the wiring mat on rear of gauges. so I take it you didn't install the head unit yourself .hate not knowing what others have touched.

I installed the head unit myself.the gauges worked before and still do.just drove the car at night the first time when I noticied that the volt gauge was the only lit one and the other two still worked just no light behind them so I assumed it was the globe

Good chance you pulled the plug partially out then. Pull it out and check it and the voltage first, before assuming the bulbs are blown.

When I did the install I had to remove the whole unit because i had a threaded screw on the stereo.so everything had to be plugged back in once I got the new one in the cage and I made sure it wasn't loose when I checked everything,so I'm 80% sure it's the globes

I ended up buying a set of led replacements for mine - they're a bit brighter than the standard globes, but they'll last 100 times longer too

Dunno if a pic of the gauges lit up will be worth anything, as there's nothing nearby to compare it to...

Called my local nissan dealer and ordered 3 bulbs cheap...they told me they can get any stagea parts...yay!!!
