Couple of common questions so I'll put them up.

Rego to Sept

All Belts done

Suspension:

Aftermarket Slotted/Crossdrilled/Vented FR rotors & Aftermarket Slotted/Vented RR Rotors

Bilstein Dampers (modified by A.C.T Bilstein distributor Chris @ Inline Steering & Suspension)

Eibach Race Specification Lowered Springs

Camber Kits FR + RR

New CV boots, control arms & bushes

Aftermarket adjustable arms

Whiteline strut braces F&R

Hicas lockout bar

Bit of work has been done on this side I have receipts for most of above, rotors to Camber Kits were already done when I picked up the car.

Exccedy clutch

Tuning

NisTune by Silverwater Automotive (using a dyno) when the turbos were done.

Shop was told to tune for durability, reliability and then power.

Piping

Full 3 ¼ JASMA Exhaust (modified locally for better flow. Straight-through middle hotdog)

Aftermarket Front Pipes

HKS piping kit & BOVs

Trust Intercooler

No idea about the cat

No real issues just maintenance that is due.

Mechanical:

Rotors will need to be machined soon

Running rich from the Sydney tune

Couple of minor leaks around seals as things get old, bolts that dropped off over time- old car stuff.

Got the receipts/report from ESP so you can have a read of them.

Exterior:

Standard ware'n'tear on the paint

Front Bar mount has been damaged (been like that since I bought 7 yrs ago)

Two Wheels have some gutter rash

Interior:

Some of the upholstery is coming way from around driver side rear window.

Where would i go next with the car:

Bigger injectors & a re-tune would probably bump it to 300kw@w +

Braided break lines & bigger rotors

Take it to the track for the first time.

I am selling it as i have a new addition to the family and can't (not allowed) to put a baby seat in the back.

I have never taken it to the track it was my daily driver for the first 4 years and has had the occasional drive for the last 3 years, it has done 40,0000 km in 7 years with about $25k worth of maintenance & upgrades. All work done by well known shops in ACT (no back yard stuff) with Turbos & tune done in Sydney.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I will endeavor to get more photos but i need to wash the dust off it first!

I checked this GTR out a little while ago. If I had all the cash now or Tim would take a 4 month layby I'd already have owned it.

An honest GTR like it's owner, very honest. Well maintained and as said above just needs a little TLC on some minor stuff.

A weekend of detailing and this GTR would shine very brightly. Add to that your own touch's you would have a very nice ride indeed.

Still very tempted. Tax time is almost here :D

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
