The cruises have been pretty successful so far, seems to be a more regular thing up here now with the guys all chipping in to organise! Its great to see you guys making the effort to come up.... As soon as i get my cooling system sorted i should be able to join a few Sydney events too!

They're the best cruises I've been on, thats in regards to organisation, roads and people. 10/10

Definately need to get you down this way once your cooling issues are sorted. Also just checked up on the accom, cheap as. So if we get entry spots to the hillclimb we'll be booking in.

Should probably service my car beforehand. FUUUUUUU

Haha nice one!

Well make sure Matt PM's m.j.h with the details and get it sorted man! Itll be a 34 shoot as there is a decent amount going as usual lol

I concur with statements that that sounds 100% normal. Sink your foot into it and see how quick it bounces off the rev limiter. I think you'll be surprised.

I retract what I said earlier about it being a seized fan clutch. That statement was made on the basis of stories of horrible noises, which clearly do not exist.

Hard to tell with varying descriptions online, but as long as the car is all good then its win win!

damn at work now so i can't listen to the vid either, but i had a quick look and it seemed like thats what my tacho does as well. mate was probably right.....(if he reads this then :domokun: )

car is not ready for any cruises yet, some stuff to still fix up and prepping for some upgrades =)

If it drives, its ready! :P Bring it anyway!

I take mine on cruises. No wheel alignment after new suspension. No tune after new ECU.

Zero f**ks were given on this day.

You sir............................................. Are doing it wrong! Just like i would lolz

You need to hand in your keys! Safe and skylines are two things that should not be mixed! :P

i dont want to brag or anything....

but i drove my car with only one headlight working :whistling:

I think eventually we'll all just crash into each other.

Will be a good cause for a meet-up.

Maybe the crash will eventuate with one full working 34?

    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday. Now for some reason I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  But I see no mention of this on any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must me missing something?
    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
