I had been very happy with Morpowa until recently. Last service they put the wrong spark plugs in my 200SX making it blow spark when on boost (which I replaced with $100 worth of Platinums after they fouled in about 50km), they charged me like a wounded bull for the service and to top it all off the nearly $3,000 dodgy twin plate clutch I got off them almost 3 months ago still isn't fixed or replaced, and it seems like they don't want to get off their asses and fix an obviously ****ed clutch. I last spoke with them about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back about a solution. Doesn't seem like they are at all keen to save pride/face and get it fixed in a hurry. A couple of other performance places that have had a quick look at it and a drive were actually embarrassed for Morpowa, having shoddy work like that unfixed. Hopefully soon they can fix it and I will actually be able to drive my car without almost stalling it every time I pull up to the lights.

Tilbrooks are fantastic - can't say enough good things about Mark and the boys. Except that they are alwasy so darn busy - but I guess that's a sign of a great workshop.

/end rant

I live in Tennyson WestLakes so its going to be a drive where ever i go.  Till brooks or PVP sound the goods.

I know this sounds stupid, but i want to know.. you can take it to Nissan can you?

yeah, but make sure you take your own oil, as they use semi-synthetic unless you specify a type of oil to be used

just thought i would add, i have a great guy who works on my car is cheap trustworthy top bloke. Doesnt have all your electronics gismo's but has good eye. Big toyota fan but thinks nissan are ok, done lot of custom intercooller work and hand fab turbo mounts and stuff

just recently did timng belt on my car no probs at all, nothing i would not trust him with.

pm me for his details, dont think he would want his name posted everywhere.

can remember as a kid (15-16 )going to his workshop and he took a car for a test run in a car he was working on and let me go in it scariest ride every. Was a kb laser turbo running 20 psi on methonol

I will most certainly vouch for Shaun at Boost Worx. He has a lot of Skyline knowledge and takes the time to do the job right! It's all well and good to have the knowledge and ability, but it's sooo much more important that the workshop/mechanic that works on your car applies it! Shaun does. His prices are very sensible too.

Sorry to post-whore....Matt, I was flat out at work until late and had get home for dinner with some people so couldn't make it to BstWrx this arvo. Did you head there?

Continuing with the post-whore... yeah Lach' we did the exhaust/muffler change. It made quite a difference considering the very low cost! I'll post up a quick thread on my results. Have a read.

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
