hey guys, cops called me because it was speeding in jimboomba area.... they have not found it yet although they said on the night it was stolen cops from Jimboomba had seen a skyline speeding on "Chambers Flat Road" around 12 they chased it for a bit until they called it off when they got the number plate and that's when they contacted me about it.

No other news at the moment.

The left door is a bit buggered does not closes properly
just above the door on the roof line there is a dent
the boot's lock has been broken (previously someone stole sound system by breaking it....)

intercooler has a bit black paint painted on it

front bumper bar is "BLUE" color bar with black painted to it but due to my bad drive way and bad paint job the blue color is kinda visiable
front left guard a little more wide then it should be due to accident
mmmm currently has rota wheels on

I'll upload few pics i don't have many pics of the car sux.... .... just some random funny pics of when i went off road......

Don't think it was found. It was the owner himself to put the car in the position in the photo.

Yes the car has not been found it was spotted by cops the night it was stolen.

They did not had key of the car so i guess they knew how to wire the switch to start the car.

Also there was no petrol in the car and in any nearby petrol station there was no run off's so that means either they brought the fuel or they paid for fuel to avoide any complications or video footage.

So i would think these guys knew what they were doing also they waited outside my house for some time waiting for my family to leave so they can do the job and in the spam of 7:30 to 10:30 when my family went out for dinner they stole the car. I would assume they spent atleast half n hour in rain to open the door, wire the switch and then took the car.

So i doubt they were joy riders i think they will be using it for parts..........

@V37GT Check ur pm

@SABBAi - That picture of car upside down was done by none other then me lol..... i was turning left from beadusert hwy on to a side street when a car with trailer stopped so in order to avoide him i steer to right and ended up that way although no damage was done to the car apart from some scratches. that was last year though.

I called cops again today and spoke to them and got told a different story to what i heard on saturday / sunday......

Now they say someone spotted the vehicle on a side street off from Chambers Flat road around midnight on saturday and cops were informed by the person who spotted the vehicle. When cops turned up to that area the vehicle was not there. They called me because they were told the number plate by the person who called the cops. I asked them for time and exact place where the cops were told the car was spotted "they didn't know" and the officer who was involved is on holidays for 2 weeks......................................................................................................................

So no alarm/immobiliser I assume? It is amazingly easy to hot wire skylines that have no immobilisers, literally takes seconds if you know what you are doing.

yeh none.... and i know it is easy but then again only handful of people would learn to wire a skyline?

I believe you're under estimating the ability of the average person to unlock the door and hot wire a car.

Mine had an alarm and immobiliser professionally installed and all it took was a length of wire, pair of side cutters and 30 secs of a certain person's spare time to bypass everything and start the car up. Said person is of course a professional (and I don't mean thief/criminal) but still...

If your car had no protection, it doesn't stand a chance!

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
