Still waiting to pick up my car. It was supposed to be a 6 working day wait for the compliance plate and has been 8 so far!

Ahh man I had this crap with them also. Ended up taking almost 3 weeks for me. Hope it's faster for you.

6 days? Sure he didnt say 6 weeks?

I was told 3 weeks and took 5 or 6. Took longer because of a long weekend. 6 days sounds optimistic especially with easter coming.

It didn't bother me because I had to sell my old car, ended up selling 2 weeks before I picked up the car.

I hope it's not 3 weeks! I haven't paid for the car yet so if he wants this bank cheque it's in his best interest to get it ready..

They told me 6 weeks to get me one from Japan but 6 days to have the one in the yard complied.

I don't NEED it immediately but I'm keen to start fiddling around with it as soon as possible, my new hobby.

If anyone has any ideas on how I can get my money back and out of my contract I will drive over and buy this car immediately???? HELP!

ring him and tell him if he doesnt return your deposit you will dob him into the authorities for complience issues. ie not changing tyres until you called him out on it. Im sure he will not want that coming down on him.

I'd walk away from $1000 to buy Chris's car.

You would have to spend at least another $10,000-$15,000 (I would bet that would be the tip of the iceberg) to have the work done in the manner it has been done to his car.

You are right...I bought Chris's car this afternoon. Picking up tomorrow.

    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
    • Probably. I take it that they are also mentioned to be for R34 Skyline? For example.... RDA has that part as RDA7957. I have the dimpled and slotted version of that on my car https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285518478694?srsltid=AfmBOopKxMuAFpsxZJdB1cam4D5RAj1f9yJyOttPZLAwXVNCOiwlhrIy This is DBA's top one piece equivalent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364246686631?srsltid=AfmBOorbb0XHQgqTvZLgQPhg70nqJtGvdojKnugum3O2LFSr2h-obp8D
