That will be one wicked 32 then...

I meant to say what he wanted to put in mine ECU wise, It wont be like the Gibson GTRs in all the power making stuff.

Alan was awesome, confirmed everything I talked to you about on the phone, their set up in the GTR was word for word what Sean wants to put on mine.

Yes, totally reinforces everything you discussed with me and everything Alan mentioned was crystal clear to me. Thanks mate.

The club has been invited to be the feature club on the Sunday for the event. We have been asked to fill the apron in front of the function room with skylines so make them shine and come along, all skylines are welcome. This will also be a great opportunity for the club to promote itself to the public.

so where the hell was everyone? I was there front and center, from just before 8am till around 1pm, and I saw 2 other skylines the whole day.....

The 'club' display was cancelled when we found out that we had been over committed in terms of numbers.

They were just trying to get a heap of cars there regardless of whether they were skylines or not

Sorry mate, thought that I made that clear when I asked if you could come to the dinner instead.

sorry man, ralf and I showed up late...and they told us the show and shine was full....we really should have all showed, the comondoors were far to common. all those rare red Brock specials that look identical....

Saw your car, lookin good. steve was there in his LM.

Yeah Ralf got a few nice photos, this one features the bogged fire truck :) after it went out to try and put out a burning commo....lol

Tony, nothing was "made clear" even after rereading the whole convo again . Regardless, shit happens and I had a ball, talked for half an with Colin Fulton(team gibson) met Freddy , got his scribble on my poster next to Mr Jims, the Shannon's guys loved my car and said if they had class for older nissans I would have got it hands down, And I scored the original "redbook" from 1977 that has my car in it, for the high rolling price of $5. And on top of all that I saw Jim flogging the doors of the R31 just like I remember watching with my dad at lakeside over 20 years ago. :D

    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?
    • Summernats cruiser?
    • Mark's a bit smarter than people give him credit... He'd convince the person that is to become dead, to drive him to the forest first. That way his car has no evidence in it, and he's free to dispose of their vehicle permanently how he sees fit too...
    • But if you had to go bury a body in the forest, would you not put that in the boot? Most of them are >=90kg these days.
    • That could easily make a horrible noise. +1 to the benefits of: a) Disclosing all relevant information when asking questions such as these, b) Actually going out and having a look at your own car, seeing as you're the one there, and we're not!
