Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a garret gt25 twin turbo setup about to go into my car

I'm just wondering has anyone put twins on an rb30 and how much lag did you get

Also what computer would people recommend to get

Thanks

Ok yeah I went to a guy today and told me there to big for the rb30 and will be way to laggy

I want to try and get 500hp but I no that's not gonna happen by putting gt25s on it and has anyone used piggyback ecu before

  • 1 month later...

the idea of the twin turbo is to decrease lag over the big single, so how someone can say otherwise is beyond me

and those pics above r of single came rb30s, double cam is better

An incorrectly sized twin set-up could be laggier than a big single; so blanket statements aren't always accurate. ;)

Waste of time on an sohc rb30 mate and just a headache imho. Go single turbo - gt3076r for streetability or gt3582r if you wanna hit the bigger numbers and still be streetable. Will be easier (and probs cheaper) in the long run to sell what you have and move on.

well if your goal was to avoid lag in the 1st place than common sense shall prevail and choose the turbo size accordingly

Only u would be thick enough to run 2 T88's :domokun:

Are we friends now?
