I have been told the cops just give you a yellow sticker the you can just go home and put your cat back on then take it over the pits and avoid any fines.

worth the risk? i think not!, the cops wouldnt know the difference if you had a gutted cat though!, but the exaust smells like the proverbial without a cat! and does it really make that much difference?

So bascially: if the cops see you have no cat (provided they know what they are looking for), you are in the deep end, and I think they can ether yellow you, or report you to the epa. If they see a cat (even hollowerd out), then you should be fine.

hrmm no one has really given any usefull information yet I like haivng no cat... but if you get in big trouble i will definately replace it with a high flow cat.
