Car Will Idle Fine But Dosnt Want To Free Rev

just after any info on a problem I got, what happens is after the has been running for a while, it will idle fine but just dosn't want to rev just, coughs and splutters, I let it cool for about 5 to 10mins and can drive about another 15ks out of it than dose it again

Now I have replaced the CAS with another 1 witch was off a car that was running so I was told, hasn't worked still doing the same thing

The engine is a RB30/26 runs an EMS computer has no air flow meter, or throttle position switch very basic setup.

Just wondering if any has any other ideas of the problem? Maby I should try another CAS

Fuel pump possibly.

Clamp your return fuel line (to build pressure) and see if that makes any difference.

I would have said AFMs before you said you don't have any!

that's 1 thing I didn't check, but at the moment car is running normal fuel pressure gauge reads around 40psi, I should take it for a spin and get it to play up and check the fuel pressure gauge
