Hey peeps, I'm upgrading to a gtr form Gtst and I have 17x9 rims for the front and 18x 10 for the back is it bad to put different size wheels becoz of awd?

Yes is bad

Will throw fault codes

Need same rolling diameters front and rear

And wrong section bud

It would work if you selected the correct tyre profiles, so the rolling radius was the same, front to back

But the chances of getting that correct enough are pretty poor in the sizes that you actually would WANT to run. Just because a 185/75 might match a 285/30 close enough** to keep the ATTESSA system happy doesn't mean it would be a satisfactory result.

**ferchrissake! I didn't actually work it out, so don't hassle me if it's not the case.

Even if you ignore ATTESSA issues, GTRs understeer and you just make that worse by putting skinnier tyres at the front, so its really makes no sense.
