What brands are good. Heaps of unamed brands on ebay. any good?

If i buy this kit will i have everything i need

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-350Z-Infiniti-G35-Front-Rear-Camber-Control-Arm-Adjustable-Kit-Blue-/261252599572?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd3de4f14

Please dont make this confusing.

thanks and yes i know its coverd in a million post but its get so confusing

I am fairly sure those items are all you will need to get your camber correct with a 1.5in drop. Although I am a bit suspicious of those front arms which claim up to +3deg positive camber. The best have seen is +1deg before the arms are too long and hit the guards, then shims are added to the hub to obtain more than 1deg of positive camber.

I don't think you will have any issues pulling the rear toe into spec with just the rear camber arms (but maybe someone with a 1.5in drop can confirm?)

I have approx. 1in drop on my sedan (350z springs), and was able to pull the rear alignment into spec with the stock arms.

A little more camber from a slight drop isnt worth spending 1K on adjustable arms. You can still get the alinement in spec without them roughly.

As long as your toe isnt all over the shop you wont be chewing tough tyres in weeks (unlike that time I chewed through a set in 2 weeks on my s14 because I had liek 20 mm toe out :P ) yes you might not get 50,000 km out of a set of tyres but even my car with all stock arms and lower easy 2+ inches (just tucking tyre with streched 19's ) and stock arms with 3+ deg camber coulds get toe to a aceptable amount has done 10 000KM on 2nd hand tyres without chewing them out so a new set + getting them flipped once start to get some camber wear shgould still last a decent time

I'm into this question too....Need more info here. I'm purchasing a set of Bc Br and want to get cambers and sway bars. these items i found on ebay looks like a steal at that price. apparently Godspeed is Tanabe rebranded and more good than bad from g35driver.com. What you guys think ??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GODSPEED-350z-g35-suspension-sway-bar-front-camber-rear-toe-arm-rear-camber-/300803383628?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AG35&hash=item460947614c&vxp=mtr#vi-ilComp

I would be careful buying ebay parts like arms and stuff, you get what you pay for ie theyre not crash hot and the bushes they uae are crap compared to if you spend 50-100 more.

Also shipping from the US is bloody expensive so i would try and source something from japan.

Our cars take all 350Z suspension so try searching that for a broader choice range.

I have coilovers in my V35 sedan and it was slammed (my lower control arms and subframe pulled reflectors out of the road) and it had so much camber i didnt need to buy camber arms.

BC BR coilovers as scotty said are great value. Most of us run then you can get em from just jap for 1399 i think with free postage. And that will lower the car 1.5 without even adjusting them.

yea i have read several reviews on g35driver.com. Majority have complimented these items as best bang for buck. Of coz I'm in no position to compare the Godspeed swaybar / camber kit with other brands like whiteline, cusco, eibach etc... but since i dont track my V, all i've wanted is just having a good looking street car with sweet drive :D. I also agree BC Br is a really good option.

Question: anyone knows somewhere to install coilovers , swaybars and camber in sydney for a good price/quality ??

Think of it like this. If you spend up big now chances are you wont have to spend much later. Spend little now and then send more later because the little you have spent has broken/failed. Think about it.

What would you buy a kogan TV or a Samsung TV?

Same thing.

    • Reading through the engine service manual their advice is do a cylinder balance test. Unplug one injector at a time and see if the idle drops a consistent RPM. You can also do this using a Consult cable which is easier. They also call for unplugging the power transistor, then with the engine off and the fuel rail unhooked from the manifold verifying that you have good fuel flow (even injection, no dripping/leaks, etc) when you twist the CAS by hand. Also verify the spark by pulling the spark plugs and allowing the plugs to ground and turning the CAS by hand. I would also start doing the sensor checks and idle valve checks in service manual. Make sure the MAF tests reasonably, the intake air regulator is sane, etc. You may have to get new spark plugs.
    • This sounds very old of me, however since buying the Tiguan shit box, my view on shit boxes have changed.
    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
