After some pictures of some fatter rubber on r32 gtr wheels, or any 16x8 in general.

I love the r32 gtr wheels on my car atm, but the standard 225/50 just looks boring / weak bla bla.

Kumho Ku31 are available in 245/50r16 and a few brands have 245/45r16.

Have seen some 255/55 drag radials but cant find any decent pics of 245s...

If anyone with R32 GTR wheels has something related to contribute, then share some pics!

Your options are a bit limited. 235 on an 8" is a good width, but there aren't really any good options for sidewall profile. You need to be right between 45 and 50 profile to make a 235 give the same rolling diameter as a 225/50. 45 is a bit too short, 50 is a bit too tall.

245 is a bit too wide for an 8". But at least if you put a 245 on, then a 45 profile gives the right diameter.

FWIW, I used to run 225/50 (so GTR original size for an 8") on 6.5" wide GTSt rims in place of the 205/55s. This was a little bit overwide, without actually being a problem. The extra width was a bigger benefit than any "slop" associated with bagginess. On that basis, you would not doubt get a similar result from 245 on an 8". It's just not quite ideal.
