Mystery Buzzing/humming Noise

Hey guys,

Was wondering if anybody had a similar issue to me? I am experiencing a humming/buzzing noise. The noise is dependent on speed (not acceleration). Its coming from the rear of the car. The noise sounds like zzzzzzzzzz'. To describe it further its like a noise made when it's windy and the wind resonates through small holes in your gutter. With that description being said, I thought it was the license plate so I secured it with 4 bolts as oppose to the two. The sound is still there.

By "dependent on speed", do you mean the faster you go, the higher the pitch of the sound?

It's not coming through your speakers is it? This happens to me when using a tape to 3.5mm adapter and is dependent on rpm.
