Do you deliver?

On another note. Seems my car won't be ready for the weekend and its looking like mid next week...

Just spoke with Richard....It is going to be worth the wait.

Also when i do build my replacement we are going 3.2l stroker.

Im fine with waiting, Im not overly fazed really.... Id rather it stay there a while longer and be done right than rush it for the weekend and take i to the track and break it lol..

Richard has high hopes for the build which is good.

3.2 stroker is definitely the go i reckon... Its probably the only new motor id move to from what im currently making

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
