You're*

Also thinking about starting a DS circuit and coffee thread to throw pictures/things I find interesting at the events into

Silly gat-ton, no one cares for cars with hectic poke/thrush and 5 packet of zip ties used to hold the rusty POS together.

Didn't Scott buy them

Yeah he bought the massive ones...

Have another set of r34 gtt front calipers (310mm rotors etc) and z32 rear calipers...

Also another set of z32 fronts and rears...

.... I care to an extent, not my thing but I think it has it's place in the car scene. I'm happy to sit back and watch them get defected with there natro ca18 as I roll on by with my 160mm of clearance lol

The question is more around why you would post DS events and pics here? They're essentially competing with us for events etc and you want to assist them by promoting their shit?

I wanted you to help us with the drag day, but if this is demonstrating your thoughts on this matter, then we'll find someone else.

Seems a tad aggressive.

    • No requirement for JDM vehicles,  which the 33 is, maroney label only needed in the US market for new cars I believe (Federal law stuff) Google knows all
    • Hopefully you can just unbolt them, thank them for their service, then bin them and not replace them Apparently the sensors like to set them off with only minor impacts at low speed It looks like they do a delete kit for some of these, but, it is costly
    • I hope it's actually possible. This is a write off in insurance world.
    • Yup. 2-way with shallow ramp angles. Still works.
    • That was the first session so not a lot to take from the day. It was low 20s ambient and the coolant had got to 110 (and obviously had some pressure!) so that still needs to be addressed. I haven't downloaded the data yet but will. I had refilled the auto trans with Redline DT6 because it claimed the best viscosity I could find at 100o. It wasn't really long enough to get a good feel for that; while the trans got to 100o in the session it still wasn't shifting crisply as I hoped. I think I'll try a few more sessions before judging. No steering motor overheat but I'd hope not in only 1 session! But finally the suspension; it was night and day over the standard stuff and the car was a couple of seconds quicker on the same crappy tyres, which is a huge difference. I'll stick with that and get some sway bars and a mechanical diff sorted too and see how that all goes together
