Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Noel just got 680 hp out of his car today. After crapping his precision turbo afar not making the desired numbers with it he Changed to a MTA 900 and just pissed power. Pretty interesting!

Thought precision were supposed to be ok...

from a reliability point of view no doubt, but the power production part was the most interesting, they had to push hell out of it to nudge 600hp.
what version precision turbo was it Bunts?

64/66

Scott made 588 no problems (not on EFI dyno. Will be interested to see what scotts does make on said dyno)...

Definitely think there was something not right about the 6466 Noel got unfortunately. It struggled to make over 600hp then finally seized up on the dyno. Time will tell what i can get out of mine

Simon32 made over 700hp atw using a Precision 6262 Turbo on a standard RB26 using a standard GTR box.

Just sayin

Noel's turbo musta been le f**ked

I've not driven a700hp car but I do know the jump from 450 to 512 I thought was quite a bit then again from 512 to 588.. But it's hard to make an informed call till I've been there really

Then again all setups are different. 700hp in some cars I would be a total different feeling to 700 in another setup

700hp on a track car is doable but you want to make damn sure reliability and suspension and transmission is also up to par to cope with that power.

Is Noel's car a GTR?

    • Ok thanks 🙂 I will higly consider this. Any "known" company for a good reviews and experience to send that off? Is that CJ-motor good one? Or go straight to GCG site? I need to use VPN to even find some of those "shops" let alone access them 🙂
    • You can literally put in as much WMI as it takes to quench the combustion totally (and then back it off a little, obviously), and it will keep making more and more power. The power comes from the cooling effect of the water (and the meth) and the extra fuel (the meth, which also has massive octane). It is effectively exactly like running E85. One might be slightly better than the other, but they are damn close. But with either you can lean on the boost or the timing (or both) waaaay more than with just petrol and the results are similar. Here's the first thing I googled for an anecdotal bit of evidence. Can't access the attachment without being a gold member, but it is there for the getting if able to, or searched up elsewise perhaps. https://www.hpacademy.com/forum/general-tuning-discussion/show/wmi-vs-e85/
    • Dang, those BBS are so nice!
    • Yeah it is wild how much wider the Yokohama A050 in 255/40R17  vs Yokohama AD09 in 255/40R17 sits on the 17x9 +22 considering its even from the same brand and adjacent product family
    • Would love to see some examples of WMI making the same as E85. Only thing I've ever found is this one.  Which suggests WMI is not worth much at all.
