no. Just like everyone else you need to earn it.......unless I win 5M dorras then I help you if you are a good boy

I do earn it, I just have other things I need to pay for first :(

Dam brakes. To many options, can't figure out what i want to get.

R33 brakes bolt straight on.

Bigger ones are probably only a bit more expensive if i just get fronts.

But i might want to get even bigger ones later, in that case the 33 brakes would be easier to move on.

Or i could go straight to even bigger ones but i'd need to get 18's...

In which case do i get TE37s again or something else.

Argh decisions.

what are you on about Pete?

Your 17in TE37's will have more than enough room for a big brake kit

Also new big brake kits cost a lot more than R33 GTR Brembos Pete

40 minute sessions at wakefield, and my GTR Brembos never smoked... Just sayin! They have become fairly underrated over the last few years. Though I have never paid 1800 bucks for them. My first set of fronts cost 800 with dba 5000 rotors and my full set cost 1300 with dba 5000 front rotors.

Some between 4 and now Mel :(

Now I'm going to get up and drive to Beacmere to meet a client I know and help them put all their work on a cloud

I'm actually really looking forward to this :)

Have you moved completely to xero in house?

Front D2 kit is about ~2K,

R33 all round is 1800 bucks by the time you get them rebuilt etc

Get real brakes. D2 are rubbish.

Do it once, do it right. Cheaper in the long run Pete.

If R33 Brembos bolt straight on, that means all Z32 kits will bolt straight on.

    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
    • Bloody apprentices! 🙄
    • Not sure yet.  Was considering speedtek because it was rated to 800hp, but when I did some research about him I don't think I will go for that🤣 So maybe giken gear set, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough🙄
    • Keeping in mind that for most people this is a week to month long job!
    • Its also worth mentioning that 30 years after it left the factory and god knows how many missed oil changes since, there is every possibility that one or more lifters are ticking because they are sticky/gummed up. To resolve that you need to pull the cams then pull each lifter, disassemble, clean, reassemble, soak in oil and re-install, and they should come up good as new.
