then don't go for cheap shit Pete.

Get a big brake kit like Brembo F50 with 380mm rotors or Alcon or Endless or Project Mu

Oh I also forgot AP and Willwood

and make it worth it

its a r32 weekender, not a r35 track car ants...

380 is probably to big.

those akebono kits seem reasonable, mike did you say r33 (and hence 32) and z32 stuff is interchangeable?

It sure is. I ran z32 brakes on my car for a few days while waiting for new rotors to arrive.

Correct, R33 brembos bolt straight on to Z32 (front and rear), so if R33 brembos bolt straight on to yours, all Z32 kits will fit.

Beetroot is awesome :). Not on a chicken burger though... :/

I like beetroot but my Schnitzel burger with bacon, cheese and gravy does not need beetroot  They jipped me on the gravy side of things too!

And before Greg says anything, f**k the 12 week challenge today!

    • Ended up just being a loose exhaust bolt luckily.
    • Yeah I made that post way too early, sorry I must have assumed it was bad because it's a 20+ year old thrashed shitbox lol. It was just a loose exhaust bolt.
    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.
