I'd like to come for the cruise, put a day permit on the GTR, but I'm not sure if it will be drivable at the time and if I'll have the rough bits sorted by then

Count me as a maybe.

Hey everyone,

Atm we have around 5 cars meeting up with us for the cruise and some photos.

If anyone is still interested we are meeting at Regatta Place (lake Burley Griffin) at 5-5:15. Arrivals start at 6pm so and idm if you come anytime before that

Please PM me if you are gonna come so we don't leave anyone behind and so I know who you are

Why?

As per below posts

It's either you're new to formal runs or you've had good luck

From now until the end of the first week of Jan 2014 I'm going to safely assume that they'll be picking on modified cars because of the events that are arising, formal runs and Summernats.

Cops that defect at events like formal runs need to seriously look at what they are doing. They are the reason why i hate most cops. They have been known to defect at charity runs as well!

Ahhh, well i have a secret weapon.

Bluey dog in the back window is actually a toy you get when you donate to the Police legacy fund.

Ive never had trouble with him there.

Support your local law enforcement, and make life easier for yourself.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
