jus starting this topic for helping other member who have issue finding the codes for their skyline 350gt ECU test

Its quiet easy to do just follow the instructions below;

It is very important to get the timing right or it wont work, you may need a few goes at it.

Take a pen and paper in the car with you.

Turn ignition on, wait 3 seconds (just to on but dont crank/start the car)

2) Push fully and release the gas pedal 5 times within 5 seconds (timing important and make sure you floor the gas pedal and fully release it each time)
3) Wait 7 secs, then fully push gas pedal and hold for 10 seconds until the engine light starts to blink on the dash.
4) Release gas pedal (you are in diagnostic test mode 2)

If you dont get it to work first time turn it fully off remove the key for 1 minute then begin again. It took me about 5 attempts to get it working.

The engine block light will now flash a series of 4 numbers (ie 2 flashes means number 2 etc) with a short pause in between. Count the four series of flashes for the code. BTW 10 flashes is number 0.
So if you start with 10 flashes pause 2 flashes pause 4 flashes pause 6 flashes your code will be 0246.

To some extent. The codes should be similar, and the manual flashing MIL process is the same, but it should only be used in emergencies imo. It doesn't dispense with the need for a consult3 unit, just helps if you are stranded without access to a dealership I guess.

The flashing MIL only picks up the engine fault codes. The other 6 computers are ignored.

ohhh okay i guess i just have to take it to someone that has computer to read the codes,

my car drives fine, only thing i noticed are bad connection or idk like clock sometimes changes, reverse sound stop sometimes, sign light sound also stop sometimes, and of course the most hated issues Radio play all but no sound at all sometimes, or it cracks and sometimes the front speaker doesn't work that can be solve just pressing any button on the radio though.

Video of the radio problem i have,

0:00-0:01 sec only the back speaker were making noise ( i can't say sound cause just making blurry noise lol).

after i press Volume you can notice the front speaker starting working and stil blurry, that happens allot i really want to know how to fix it.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
