Boost Issues!?

Sorry if this has already been posted. I'm having trouble with boosting my car past 8 psi without it cutting. Previously I've tried setting it higher (around 12 psi), and after several cuts it eventually gets there. I'm certain it's a fuel cut because I can still hear the turbo spooling. I changed the spark plugs which fixed the boost cutting issue and I've been told the coil packs could be the fuel cut issues. Any help would be appreciated

That makes no sense. How can the coil packs be a fuel cut?

If you have standard ECU. change it and get it tuned.

Run 0.7bar until you can get a new ECU or a Toshi remap if you don't plan to have massive mods (great cheap modification)

A few mechanics have said the same thing about the computer issue. Just thought it might have been something else.

tuned for AU 98 RON fuel, removed TP cut, removed 180km/h speed limiter. Boost comes on earlier, car goes harder, run 12/13psi all day no dramas.

the mechanics "multiple" told you what it was and you looked for other issues before addressing the ecu?

not flaming but yeah you need to look into what they said before looking at random parts for unrelated more random issues.

The same mechanics also mentioned possible coil pack issues, possible spark plug issues, possible fuel pump issues, possible turbo issues, possible exhaust issues. Just thought I'd share the issue on here to see if anyone has been through the same thing
