lol as u can see its bad form , And everyone has agreed to this, and offering me next dibs on the next set u get is shit , we had a deal Lol btw only $50 more i would have paid that for them if u said someone else had offered u more or gone halfs on the difference , and i did haggle u from 400 to 380 pickup but thats part of the game . But we all kno as skyline owners that 50$ is nothing if its the part u want . I will still buy parts off u in the future if u have something i want but im still pissed i missed out on a part i was looking for and thought i had finally found and locked in !!

Id rather cry like a boy than pull a c**t act and common sense is letting the guy u sold the parts to first know ur going back on the deal , than not replying to the 5 texts and waiting till i find out on sau to reply with a "got offered more text "

Dont bother replying to this cause whatever The outcome at the end you made a stupid call and handled the situation bad and all members will agree .

Apologise/Honour your commitment - nuff said.

I'm certain you don't want this to drag out and this thread to carry on

Seems you have a thriving business selling parts on this forum, so far ....

A man is only as good as his word. Your reputation just took a hit

No qualms about getting best price, But once you've reached an agreement the deal is done

Haha you's are all sooks get over it! Go play in the playground. I could've sold them for 700 if I wanted too I've had over 20 people want them get over it. I'll sell them to who I want when I want how I want don't like it go else where :)

And you think I haven't apologized? Of course I have. If you wanted them that bad why haggle for $20?? anyway not my problem

You are an absolute clown... Clearly you are still a boy, I hope you never sell another part on this forum as you have no honor no sense of right or wrong and trust me Khama will get u maybe not today but it will . Next time when something shit happens to you , remember Khama even gets clowns with no honor! You won't see my point though so it's wasted effort in the end

strange, but i see that hattori had the first post requesting them... to me, that put him in the box seat. obviously you are going to discuss with other potential buyers until cash is in the hand.

really - is it worth all the moaning? It happens to all of us, we just have to shrug that crap off...

^^^ spot on. As a selling you get stuffed around everyday by ''clowns'' when that much interest is shown in something nothin is sold until money is exchange as a seller with something with so much interest the easier the transaction no haggling the better hence the sale

Stop whining portaz your the only one left whining lol

3 words you should learn.

Sold pending payment.

And if you read the FOR SALE rules, the last line of rule number 1

IF YOU WANT TO AUCTION YOUR GEAR USE E-BAY

I totally understand you want the most money you can get, next time up the price and add that its negotiable, that way you get better money, your reputation doesn't get hurt and you dont look like a twat

I wasnt whining but i guess it was a futile attempt to teach manners /honour but in the end it comes back to your parents and how you were raised. Sorry as it is a for sale thread its just ppl like you who are ruining australia and make me want to leave as fast as possible as clearly it bothers me when ppl act this way but in the end it does t effect me so peace out

Im really happy with the front guard that brad was nice enough to deliver from the gold coast to brisbane for me. It actually is in mint condition and ive bought items from him in the past for great prices with no hassle.

Im not buying into this debate too much but there is generally two ways it goes down.

First one to reply or pm

Or

First one in with the cash

You may view it as free bumps

From where I am sitting it looks like a dishonest seller

And if you want to get into technicalities, verbal agreement is legally binding.

If Hattori really wanted to pursue the matter, you legally owe him a pair of gtr side skirts at the price you agreed on

Hattori is the buyer.

Verbal agreement is not legally binding as it cannot be proven that a contract of offer and acceptance has been entered into. No-one would get anywhere in the small claims court with hearsay. always a good idea to get these things in writing to avoid unpleasantness

On top of your lack of ethics and integrity on this sale - I really dislike your whole attitude in your responses.

Pure mercenary (i.e. in it for yourself, screw over the community).

My personal opinion of you and how you conducted yourself on this sale gives me a good insight.

Yeah I know it doesn't matter to you.

But in posting my opinion of you matters to me, and hopefully many others who may wish to buy something you advertise FS in the future.

No one else is posting in here now - true, but I sincerely hope many read.

Ï have read your positive feedback and it is all positive Until now.

Hopefully you may have learnt something.

Cheers

Richard

Poor attitude.

I've had people offer me more money to sell an item to them after I have made an agreement to sell to a member but I've always stuck by my guns and sold to the first person.

First in, first served. Money shouldn't push your way through the line.

Free bump.

Unbelievable lol I been stuffed over by way to many buyers cash talks at the end of the day I can show you all I've had a mix of 15 text messages and pms regarding the skirts in 2 days so I could've easy got more for them- I didn't. The guy that is now whining about it haggled me 20 dollars about saying I was firm because of interest I agree to him for the 380 and than the guy I sold them to didn't haggle was easy transaction so I sold them to him common sense. Care factor zero, at the end of all this the guys that are whining and going out of there way to comment I've got a good memory can't wait to get another set of the n1 side skirts because your text messages and pms will be ignored :)

Will you sell them to me if I offer you more money than the first person that wants to buy them??

Ok now i stopped but your a mega f*ck head , i haggled and you accepted the offer , i would have paid more but you accepted and made a deal of it . And f*ck your parts i already have a set i just wanted yours cause it was the coulour and would save me painting . Thats why i was pissed. the more you keep defending your fu*kup the more people are seeing your a sh*t trader and your sh*t attitude .

No because money is transferred like I said I'm sure if I tried I could've got 700 for them that night the fact that he offered more and was a easier transaction not trying to save 20 on a item with so much interest. Again common sense

i was gonna come get it that night . And again u shouldnt have told me that it was a deal then . I have the text confirming so .

Bottom line it was a shit call and should have been handled better . Thats all were all saying.

You cant attack me for complaining when i have reason to be pissed . You could have at least offered it to me for that price to see if i would accept .

    • I got back to Japan in January and was keen to get back on track as quickly as possible. Europe is god-awful for track accessibility (by comparison), so I picked up a first-gen GT86 in December just to have something I could jump into right away. The Skyline came over in a container this time and landed in early January. It was a bit battered after Europe, though—I refused to do anything beyond essential upkeep while it was over there. The clutch master cylinder gave out, and so did the power steering. I didn’t even bother changing the oil; it was the same stuff that went in just before I left Japan the first time. Naughty. Power steering parts would’ve cost double with shipping and taxes, so knowing I’d be heading back to Japan, I just postponed it and powered through the arm workout. It took a solid three months to get the car back on the road. Registration was a nightmare this time around. There were a bunch of BS fees to navigate, and sourcing parts was a headache. I needed stock seats for shaken, mistakenly blew 34k JPY on some ENR34 seats—which, of course, didn’t fit—then ended up having the car’s technical sheet amended to register it as a two-seater with the Brides. Then there’s the GT86. Amazing car. Does everything I want it to do. Parts are cheap, easy to find, and I don’t care what anyone says—it’s super rewarding to drive. I’ve done a few basic mods: diff ratio, coilovers, discs, pads, seat, etc. It already had a new exhaust manifold and the 180kph limiter removed, so I assume it’s running some kind of map. I’ve just been thrashing it at the track non-stop—mostly Fuji Speedway now, since I need something with higher speed after all that autobahn time. The wheels on the R34 always pissed me off—too big, and it was a nightmare getting tires to fit properly under the arches. So I threw in the towel and bought something that fits better. Looks way cleaner too (at least to me)—less hotboy, less attention-seeking. Still an R34, though. Now for future plans. There are a few things still outstanding with the car. First up, the rear subframe needs an overhaul—that’s priority one. Next, I need to figure out an engine rebuild plan. No timeline yet, but I want to keep it economical—not cutting corners, just not throwing tens of thousands at a mechanic I can barely communicate with. And finally, paint. Plus a bit of tidying up here and there.
    • Nope, needed to clearance under the bar a little with a heat gun, a 1/2" extension as the "clearancer", and big hammer, I was aware of this from the onset, they fit a 2.0 with this intake no problems, but, the 2.5 is around 15mm taller than a 2.0, so "clearancing" was required  It "just" touched when test fitting, now, I have about 10mm of clearance  You cannot see where it was done, and so far, there's no contact when giving it the beans Happy days
    • It's been a while since I've updated this thread. The last year (and some) has been very hectic. In the second-half of 2024 I took the R34 on a trip through Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland - it was f*cking great. I got a little annoyed with the attention the car was getting around Europe and really didn't drive it that much. I could barely work on the car since I was living in an inner-city apartment (with underground parking). During the trip, the car lost power steering in France - split hose - and I ended up driving around 4,000kms with no power steering.  There were a few Nurburgring trips here and there, but in total the R34 amassed just shy of 7,000kms on European roads. Long story short, I broke up with the reason I was transferred to Europe for and requested to be moved back to Japan. The E90, loved it. It was a sunk cost of around EUR 10,000 and I sold it to a friend for EUR 1,500 just to get rid of it quickly. Trust me, moving countries f*cking sucks and I could not be bothered to be as methodical as I was the first time around.
    • I assume clearances were all a-okay?
