Ok peeps here goes, as has been discussed in a previous topic and by a few pm's I have decided to get this thread going.

As we all want to keep our beloved cars safe and secure and the rise of skylines being stolen or at least attempted (my own just before Christmas was nearly taken!) we have an opportunity to bring Chris down to melbourne to help us out with his expertise!

Forum members that are interested you can either reply to this thread or send myself a pm.

Installs will be happening in a workshop in Boronia.

The following are the details of the alarm that will be getting installed.

Alarm Details:

Auto watch 446p

-glass break/ shock and battery back up siren

-install is stealth and has a few hidden oem relays that will drop multple circuits in the car

-included is a hidden activation switch. (This means that if the keys are snatched the car still will not move)

-turbo timer is included (if not needed/wanted it's a flick of a switch by installer)

-remote boot release is optional extra

-page & track is optional extra + requires a sim

-tilt is optional extra

*Google the alarm and you will find a lot of detailed information and it is a highly rated and adr approved alarm.

*Edit: this has now been moved from its original location.

We have a few definites already, so far Chris has said he's fun with end of Jan or early Feb. A couple of guys have said early Feb is fine as well.

Can we get a few ideas of dates rolling so we can lock Chris in and then we can get on top of the ticket sitch.

Cheers....Nazz!

Ok seems like the first two weeks of feb is the consensus, I will confirm with Chris and get back to everyone once it's locked in.

To all that I have confirmed I will try and organise preferred days so that there is an order involved and if anyone else who I haven't spoken to yet wishes to get involved please PM me ASAP.

I assume the work will be done in Stylyn car audios workshop? If so I work 2 minutes away so weekdays or weekends work well for me. Would also prefer sooner rather than later so early Feb is great.

Group:

1⃣ Thursday 13th - PENGUYEN (Jono)

2⃣ Friday 14th - BORCI88 (Matt)

3⃣ Saturday 15th - GCC GTR (Sab)

4⃣ Monday 17th xALomN: (Alvin)

5⃣ Tuesday 18th - Myself: (Nazz)

6⃣ Wednesday 19th - RBN1(Shivam)

Can you list names and dates publicly pls so we do not get date conflicts.

If we get more than allocated I am happy to spend an extra day or two .

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
