Don't give up hope Richard! You can't expect to sell within a few days.... if you're not in a hurry just let it be for sale for a while and wait and see. Don't let it go for a silly amount.

your probably right Shell - I'm not good at waiting.

I'll drop an add on Cumtree and All Classifieds with a photo for a good price

Redbook says bad ones go for $900 and Great ones for $2100.

Don't think there's a better Swift GA out there either.

- Actually gets 800kms per 40L tank and a whopping 39kws

Are you on facebook Richard?

You could put it on that stupid Tyson's page, might sell it there. If you dont have a facebook I can put it up there for you..

All Classifieds now (note the price)

Thanks Chris - will stay off Tyson's for now. (I have a good reputation, not like that page :P)

Mate don't get disheartened, be patient ...... there will be someone that wants that at the right price. think about it (I might be wrong .. but) you've only put it up to a bunch of Skyline freaks, i.e. us .. to date. Get it out in the real world with a couple hundred extra and start negotiating, it's a nice little car, it's just that Skyline freaks usually don't want 'nice little cars'.

We all know 'if Sinista does it it's done right' .. but the real world doesn't know that yet

Don't stress, it will go ....

(Bill's don't stress classes are on every Friday between 6pm and 7pm, cash only)

Thanks

Up on A/C and within the hour have an interested party wanting to come see it.

(Not Nigerian Prince and not on an oil rig/ship wanting to use PayPal :P )

----------------------------

Edit: Turns out after I received the second response it was dodgey ^

.....very busy ......will use Paypal ..... Set up an account .....will send a representative .....

The spelling and the email names/addresses are getting better, so the first email fooled me as it was good.

Must have some English speaking clowns helping out in the spelling, grammar and content of these scams.

----------------------------

Thanks Guys

And Rob - will chat on the weekend about E-bay :D

Thanks Maaaate

I put my car on Gumtree the other day and my first response was dodgy too.... I think it's almost expected! Mine was from a guy in the "Perth Mines" - "send me your best price and more pics"... how about get f**ked???

Second response was swaps for an Audi Quattro turbo

put red seat covers in angry bird this morn, looks good

have an urge to tint windows, king springs, and HD stabiliser bar.

As my mate Jim Carey said .......

Somebody-Stop-Me-Gif-In-The-Mask.gif

I know man... its hard not to.

What if instead of making it nice, make it handle and even lighter.

We just got new bitumen at the hillclimb track......... :D

I can make a cold air box for it, and a strut brace.

Just a thought Richard ....

More than likely the type of person attracted to Angry Bird probably wont care about tint, won't know what king springs are and cant spell stabiliser bar .... although they will probably like the red seat covers .. ;)

Not trying to but in, just a thought, you rarely get ya cash back on that sort of stuff .... on any car.

Did my best to stop you ..

keeps me off the streets and outta trouble

(plus I have no friends :geek:)

Just a passion for cars, satisfaction of doing a good job

hate seeing them neglected and enjoy making them good again

Generally sell at a loss or evens at best - but enjoy the work and the end result :D

Edit: Ooops answered in wrong section

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
