Few Q's About My New Stagea

Hey All I'm new here and have recently bought a series 1 RS Four stagea,

I know these questions have probably been asked before but I hope you are can still willing to share some knowledge.

1. The button on the right side of my dash under the cluster, I'm assuming it's centre diff lock?

2. What are the widest widths and lowest offset wheels I can run without guard destruction (been there bad choice)

I had some more but I forget I hope I can join your community and make some new friends.

Hi Gav! There is no centre diff lock (there's no centre diff - its a transfer case with multiple plate clutch) but there is a button which will retain 50/50 front rear split for take off purposes - when you get up speed the Attessa computer takes over again with 95% rear 5% front until it senses slip at the rear. If you push the button you will know its the right one because a little 4wd symbol will light up on the dash.

Have a bit of a read there is lots of info and a couple of threads on wheel and tyre choices. Use the search function on this site or use Google - very often it will refer you to threads on SAU.
