Rb25 Neo Valve Springs And Retainers

Hey,

I am about to order some tomei type b cams for my R34Gtt (260x9.15)

I am having trouble finding suitable valve springs and retainers.

I would like to stay with tomei but cannot even find any springs/retainers.

Ferrea are very expensive.

I have also seen 'supertech' but have not heard any feedback

And also 'performance valve springs' which I have only heard good feedback, but even the name sounds off putting, and these are only single springs where the others are all duel?

try FRSport for Tomei springs and retainers they have a kit, it was about $750 for a RB26

Supertech are good product (from what I've heard).

If I were doing anything to a head on any car I'd be using Ferrea product, regardless of the cost. People in the know swear by them.

I've got the same cams and I run the performance springs. like you said, only heard good things and mine has been great.

FR Sport only have the supertech for the neo

I know upgraded valve springs and retainers are going to be better and all, but may i ask, what is wrong with the standard ones? The cams are drop in so is it a requirement to change them too?

Not required but recommended. Especially considering the old ones will be out and have 100,000km on them..
