Hey guys, need some advice,

Have a r32 gtst in auto, need to change it to manual asap before i tear my hair out. Found this on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-NISSAN-SKYLINE-R34-RB25DET-MANUAL-CONVERSION-SILVIA-180SX-RB20-R32-R33-A31-/181201223756?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a306f404c

(r34 gtt rb25 manual box)

Was wondering if putting this in my car is possible, and if so can someone give me information on problems i may encounter or a bit of a guide even if possible. Dont want to be second guessing myself and want to make sure its not more trouble than its worth.

Thanks in advance

Though this is from an R34 sedan using R33 parts, this sure does give you the tips and problems you may encounter, good luck :)

It will go in. The only difference between R34 box and R33 box is that they stupidly changed the clutch to a pull type on the R34. So long as you get the clutch and slave etc with the box, you will be fine. I think your auto tranny crossmember is the right one to mount an RB25DET box too.

You will need front half of RB25DET tailshaft and you will need R32 clutch pedel etc. You will need the Navara speedo sender mod, otherwise no speedo. Other option is to transplant the R34 dash into the car. Doable, but not easy.

Should say that pull type clutches are a lot more expensive than push type clutches also. I have an OS Giken push/pull clutch converter if you want as well, PM me for more info.

The 34 box has triple synchros as well I believe.
