Who Has A Gps Tracker In Their Cars?

Alot of the time, late at night i often find cars just parked next to my skyline very late at night. They might not be sussing out my car, but it makes me paranoid to the shithouse. I was wondering how many of you have gps trackers in your cars. I dont know where to start. I mean look at this ebay page http://tinyurl.com/ma9ql6u, there are many to choose from that i dont know which one to buy! some are cheap like $20, others are moderate in price ~$100 and then theres the real expensive ones. How reliable are these trackers and do i need to pay to use the service? any recommendations and general tips and advice? I heard you can just hardwire a phone to your car battery and hide it behind the dash, but what if the battery explodes and starts a fire...lol
