GTRR
I will post up the checks this afternoon and you can decide buzz. Its hard to beleive it's an administrative error. That's like sayin the RTA has your vin incorrect on their system. If it's not the same car then what is it? Ben C34
Mistakes do get made with rego. My dad had a motorbike for years then realised that the number plates weren't correct to the papers, two letters were swapped. This seems like an odd situation though. BuuBox
There will probably be a simple explanation - e.g. the seller has misread one of the digits on the chassis number. Did they send you a picture of the ID plates? It would be a very elaborate fraud over more than a decade otherwise. Sounds like hard work to maybe make $10k over a 'normal' R33 GTR - the tart up job on the engine bay alone! (OO)SKYLINE(OO)
You'd really want to know off the auction sheet what "R" (for repaired) really means! Grade R or Ra: Used to mean accident car that’s been repaired, but is now used by a lot of auction companies to grade cars they don’t want to put a grade 3 on. Either way expect a heavily repaired vehicle or something in need of major love. Vehicle with previous accident history, indicating the car has been in an accident in the past which has since been repaired. GTRR
Cheers guys, Don't get me wrong the car looks great but to me there is too much variables. If I was to buy it and decide to sell the car in the next 3-4 years the next buyer (assuming they did the check) will also be questioning this. Anyone have any idea how to put up documents? eightsixboy
I wouldn't even be considering this anymore, to many things you can't be sure on, if the km's aren't verified or if there no auction papers I say walk away. For that sort of coin I'd be looking at the LM spec R33 GTR that's for sale on here, would be worth a lot more then the white one in 5-10 years. AMR33
It could be a simple mistake or oversight as Ben c34 mentioned or something more sinister. If I were you I would do what eightysixboy said and walk away. Simply too many variables for the amount of money Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/443162-would-you-buy-this-r33-gtr-s3/page/2/#findComment-7289329 Share on other sites

NXTIME
Since purchasing the car from the original importer back in 2011 I have driven it a mere 500kms, it was freighted to my now home in NSW with the intent of using it as a daily driver, but unfortunately that has not happened.
