So nothing too crazy has happend lately with my GTR. except chasing down parts to restore it back to its former glory.. First of all was starting to get a bad miss under heavy load/boost operation. already had cleaned afms. put enw spark plugs in and thaught i would take the plunge to go new coilpacks. as i Went OEM with my GTST i thaught fu#k it im goign with splitfires this time. So order set out. also orderd a ECU water temp sensor. 1 week later from kudos here they came. The water temp sensor has seemed to help out alot with my cold start issues but still im in need of slightly tapping the throttle to get her going. so the IAC valve si on the list of things to clean/inspect maybe replace next if i have to. Bad photo but you get the point splitfires are in And then on the list was time to finally get rid of those crappy rims. that are 9.5 on teh rear with 8.5 on the fronts that had shitty 235 tyres on them. I have always Loved and dreamed since owning my GTR of buying some Work Meister S1 3P rims. but the price is just not in my region atm when i have more important thigns to fix. so a good quality copy is in order. Opinions. i know ive asked this color or color match silver the front lip. btu now. cause i have glossy wheels i feel the lip should be glossed up too. to make it more even. thaughts? My new 18x10 +15s allowed em to now run some much better and grippy tyres. some achillies 265/35 18s and 1 last shot haha. the car really needs a good polish up. and clean up. want to polish up the kakimoto cannon. but all in due time next on the list is restoring back to the factory brembos with some nice upgraded discs and pads Brembos will be painted r34 gold. if i dont purchase r34 brembos. Shouldnt deburring be done after machining? or is no machining happening?

Hey guys so update time. nothing too crazy has happend really since last time. nothing like some of the builds on here with crazy engine builds ect. But anywho heres what i have done/had done. So ive been wanting to upgrade the alarm system for a while now. and thaught id Opt for the Steel Mate remote start system. so i purchased one and it got shipped to my door 2 days later from sydney. great service. Heres a quick video showing the remote start. and i had to take a quick snap leaving ti at my Auto Elecs house https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xJHxu97J2w Next on the list was i wanted to Up my Boost a little bit so ive purchased a twins tage turbosmart boost controller for only $20 of my mate. But i didnt want to do this without a boost gauge so i knew exactly what Boost i had. (Not going over 14psi) So this also arrive in the mail 2 weeks later. its a Race Tech brand boost guage. well see how it turns out when installed. I absolutely love build threads. so good on you buddy. i can spend hours on here searching up build threads i wish more people did it. especially for R33s as R33 are my favourite skyline. What upgrades have you done so far mate??? looks nice and clean.

So i traded my S2 lip for some rear pods. this week i dropped the car of to DT panels in springvale. got them to paint and fit them. and i think they look absolutely AWESOME couldnt be happier

should i be getting some sort of protectant coat on it to help prevent stone chip damage or anything? or is the Oem plastic pretty good?

nah man keep the M spec i love the M spec look. S2 is over done. everyone with S1 does the S2 conversion... if you look at my comment below it has 1997 gtr build in blue you can click that . also my gtst build is linked below aswell

awesome build man just finished reading it all. i to am one fo the R33 lovers. tis funny how heaps of peopel hate them for the boaty ness and shape. but i love them. when done right. but like you say. so many people Rice them out and look shiteee. but yours is very nice. always liked the Mspec kits. i used to have a GTST S2. love them. good choice with the intercooler. check out my builds. the engine bay can still look very nice with the return flow intercooler pipework ect..

oh also. still need to get the S3 air ducts.

Update. Orderd a S3 front lip through kudos motorsport. got it early this week. and had to put it on this weekend. havnt un tarped her for a little bit. she needs a wash but had no time at all. what do you guys think. keep it plastic OEM black paint it gloss black. Or paint it Silver. heres some pics PS i love the sound of my new Pods never drove it properly when i installed them Next on the list definitely is new rims.

remove some stickers. hope by this your including the GTR badge lets see some under bonnet photos. i lvoe 33s. Keep us all posted man. not a bad wheel choice aswell. as its a S1 gtst. id go with the Mspec front bar. looks much nicer and angrier. plus you wont if you go the S2 front bar route. you wont need to change the Reo bar. headlights bonnet to make ti look good.

im from vic and would love the rear diffuser. but just curious as to if you know fi they are illegal or not. if i put one on my R33 gtr. would i get defected for it? aslong as my car is legal height i mean.

haha hes back mint man. looks heaps good. you should fo kept the GTR style front bar and put on a New lip. i currently have my S2 gtr lip for sale. (would of fixed that missing gap) in the middle.
