Removing Seat Belt Warning Chimes And Light

Gday all,

Ive just put in a fixed back seat into my GTST R32 (track car so no on road safety concerns), whats the best way to remove the seatbelt chimes and lights?

In my R33 I just leave the wiring to the buckle disconnected via the connector under the seat. This may be the same for R32s

So with the wires disconnected you dont get any warnings? that was the plan but didnt think it would be that easy!!

The thing is, if there isn't anyone sitting there, the system doesn't chime, does it?

That's right! I found out by accident, I simply forgot to hook it up one day and it worked! Up until that point I just buckled the OEM seatbelt up behind the seat

For the passenger side yes, but the driver's side will always chime with no seatbelt
