GTR-N1
Hi Richard, I'll take this please since it includes the whole kit (ie plate, plastic insert, fingers that spread out from each corner)? I'll need your details once more. Kind Regards, Terry Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/451109-genuine-cs-short-shifter-bnr32/#findComment-7433951 Share on other sites

Sinista32
Besides being a shorter shift between gears Like around an inch or so to neutral. So maybe 2-3" between 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 etc.. It is firmer than the OEM (ie. not as loose feeling) In a nutshell it is more direct feeling. You don't miss gears and it stays in gears. It's not hard in to or out of gear but firmer and shorter. Good for spirited drivers, driving enthusiasts and your race car driver. (I am getting lazy) You don't throw it into gear, you move it into gear. Think of paddling through air and paddling through water If you have an issue with your GB or clutch I'd dissuade you from installing as it will amplify the issue. Hope my explanation is helpful to all Edit: Why would I let it go? Seemed a good idea at the time when I got home. I went OEM and the GTR feels less of a race car although I am having second thoughts - hence why I haven't bumped it up I checked the price on the Nismo shifters to price mine - Oh my son of rajab Edited November 28, 2014 by Sinista32 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/451109-genuine-cs-short-shifter-bnr32/#findComment-7433973 Share on other sites

deongster
Terry. When you get this. Can I loan the 2 round pieces on the left for the boys to use as reference to produce? I have the shifter. But am missing that 2 pieces. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/451109-genuine-cs-short-shifter-bnr32/#findComment-7434056 Share on other sites
GTR-N1
Sure Desmond! Richard will feel good that he's 'donating' 'organ parts' - AFTER he's woken up! Sinista32
*yawn* The metal ring will be easy. BUT the plastic washer will be the gotcha. It's not simple by any means, it's unique underneath, although you may be able to simplify something (not sure). ------- Terry the 2 brass coloured "fingers" aren't in the box. Will need to ask my Mech on Monday morning. I'll get back to you. Sinista32
Terry, et al. Unfortunately my C's Short shifter does not have the "brass fingers" (in the picture above), and did not have them in my GTR Sorry for the hype and inconvenience. Withdrawn from selling. Sinista32
Hey Des, I'm happy to send the metal ring up so you can replicate and then send mine back mate. Not a problem. The plastic one I found out today is stock (OEM). needed for all shifters to mate up to the box. Your existing shifter will have one Edit: Called Andrew @ Kudos. The plastic ring by itself is PN# 32875. Delivered to you would be under $20. These metal rings are only for the short shifters. Best borrow mine for measurements. Question for you. Does your short shifter have the 2 brass coloured half moons or 4x allen key bolts and 4x nuts welded on square washers ?
