I'm back with a new car...again!  :headspin:

This time it's a Galant VR4.

I'm going to make an effort to actually turn up to events now, so I'll hopefully run into a few of you.

Ewen, hit me up with a membership form.

Cya round.

Mark

Look out below! It's a membership form link!

Oi, Andrew, get out of here

Anyone keen to meet up for a meet-up one night next week?? Afraid weekends are out for me....forever! Always working. Any evening is good. Last time I tried to organise something, it was so cold only Amaru and Aurora showed up. Good to meet you guys by the way!

Ps anyone got a spring compressor I could borrow? Got hold of some lowered (very low) springs I want to try to chuck in myself. Thanks

Hey mate, welcome to SAU.

There's a Pizza Night coming up on July 31 if you're interested.

Check out the thread in the ACT section or in the Events at the top of the window.

Also, i think we're planning a Bateman's Bay cruise as it comes into Spring, or maybe sooner.

Once again, welcome, and hopefully see you around soon!

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
