1993 R33 GTST Skyline. Manual, 180K on the clock.

In amazing mechanical condition for its age. Mechanically 100%.

1_zpsvu8ukkek.jpg

Rego has lapsed one month ago. The car only requires a pink slip to get it re-registered before 29th March 2015. After this date the car would require a blue slip if you wanted to re-register it.

PRICE as is (with no rego) $4850 (track car or get your own pink slip)

PRICE with 6 months rego $6250

You may be asking why it is a $1400 price difference for rego/pink slip (that would only cost about $700). That is because of the following 2 reasons:

1) My usual local mechanic that has serviced/pink slipped all my vehicles for years has shut down. I am not sure if the other local mechanics are as easy to pass vehicles pink slips with the usual aftermarket wheels and aftermarket exhaust.

2)I am moving to Singapore for work from late March so I just don't have the time to find a mechanic and get the pink slip done.

List of things that may or may not impact pink slip:

  • Horn - Horn has never worked, the horn button on the steering wheel is stuck. I can provide a new horn button with car if wanted.
  • Drivers seat - It has 2 bolts holding it in not 4. Have never replace the other 2 bolts however they can be bought if you find out their thread size. ($7.99 from supercheap for 4).
  • Drivers side front wheel - Has a lock nut on I cannot seem to remove. Sure a Tyre shop may be able to help you out in getting it off. Car comes with aftermarket wheels plus 4 x factory wheels. It is 1 x factory wheel that is stuck behind the lock nut. The other 3 wheels/hubs are fine.
  • Exhaust is louder than standard.

My mechanic used to overlook these items and I am sure most of you know mechanics the same. Apart from these nothing else in the car would have an issue passing pink slip even with the strictest workshop.

Mechanically this car is perfect. In the time I have owned it I have spent some decent money in getting this car running perfect. Most recently I spent $1600 completely replacing the engine cooling system. This included replacing all T pieces and components in the head of the engine and thermostats/piping around the engine bay. This was done due to corrosion of the metal pipes over the years. I have all receipts for work done and have no problems with anyone having a mechanic inspect before buying.

It has been serviced regularly by my mechanic and myself. Who ever buys this car will be getting a mechanically solid vehicle.

Bit of background info on myself, I run a car accessory online/ ebay store. I have great feedback and look after all my customers. If you wanted to buy a few accessories with the car I will happily give them to you at cost price also.

Thanks for pointing that out Luke. No wires snipped so can simply buy a $5 pair of standard lights from supercheap and plug them in.

Just renewed rego. Has rego until 29th December 2015 now...

Will be taking a bunch of current pictures this weekend and updating the ad.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
