Has anyone replaced their under bonnet mat??? if so what did you use/where did you source one???

I' have been looking but generally running around in circles and getting nowhere.

And for those that must lose weight by all means possible - apologies but I don't....so I'd really like to source a new or near new under bonnet mat.

Thanks in advance!!!

They do pop out but it is best to use a trim removal tool.

Go down to supercheap and spend $10 bucks and get a pack of 4 or so.

They come in handy removing trim clips.

Age of clips and angle when you lever them out and they break

Anyone able to share the part number for this item please?

If they are vehicle/model specific, I am after one for a BNR34 V-spec II

I always assumed it was specific to the carbon bonnet, to protect it from heat... seems not?

No, I didn't go ahead with it..........price was $126USD but freight/postage was $800USD. I asked them to double check the postage but never ever got any reply or help.

They are a peculiar company to deal with in some respects...I had trouble communicating.

I run my "line without the bonnet mat, it had a tear in it and had some oil soak from the previous owner. Looks neater and I don't have any issues with paint fade. If you don't mind doing a bit of cutting and measuring, then maybe you can try out Dynamat or this :

Thanks nanogrip, I was looking at that sort of product but baulked at it becuase it would be a real bitch to get off if you ever had to replace it or repair a dent etc. [[which I just had to recently do when two acorn nut looking things fell out of a tree and put a couple of small dents in my bonnet - paintless dent removal and $50 later fixed it though, BUT they had to remove my mat to access them from underneath.

Maybe I should think about organising a group buy???

Hi all, I've started a newbie group buy. Its more an expression of interest at the moment but will happen if we get the numbers!!!

So if you want one then please put your name on the list. I'll leave it open for say 4 weeks tthen if we get enough numbers I'll go to the next step.

Just to let people know we are going ahead with this, looking for a few more numbers to get a better price $251 vs $239. If we get another 2-3 people we are sure to do it.

I'm reviving my old thread to let people who haven't yet seen our group buy know - just in case. Sorry I asked about R32 ones and they are now out of production, so only R33 and R34.

That's not to say that they won't ever make the R32 ones again, just not for now.

And yeah, it took longer than 4 weeks.............

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
