R32 GTR newbie owner

Hi everyone,

I'm J.O, this is my first time using a car forum. Finally got my hands on a R32 GTR(1991). Car was not on the road for about 10 years so should be full of problems. Currently engine still start at first try but engine bay, car interior smell of rat shit and urine. Spider webs all over and ants problem. Change all fluids, engine oil, spark plugs, fan belts, oil,fuel & air filter, timing belt, tensioner,  water pump. Engine misfiring. Car jerking at higher boost and very bad fuel economy.

Will be looking forward to restore the car into daily drive condition.

Welcome, it definitely looks tidy from the outside.

Did you flush out the fuel system of the car when you got it, or just topped up and drove?

Wow, certainly looks to be in good condition from the outside at least. I'd be keen to see some interior and under the hood shots.

Thanks guys. Ya just top up fuel and drive. Here are some shots under the hood before I did some cleaning . Will take some interior shot when the car is back from workshop.

Def drop the old fuel out and refill with fresh petrol and injector cleaner

Collected car from the workshop. Advise me to change to a Haltech ecu. Car running a Microtech LTX 12,wiring in a big mess. Send the car for a thorough cleaning removing everything. Here are some shots of the interior.

Just notice in the pic my fuel gauge needle did not drop to E. Is there something wrong with my fuel gauge?
