R33 front subframe in R32

Has anyone bothered to swap the front subframes when carrying out an RB25 swap in an R32? Are there any known benefits in regards to engine position?

I don't think they swap TBH.  I can't imagine that there would be any advantages in engine position either.  R32 engine bay is simply not deep enough to take an RB25 + typical strut brace.  But an RB25 is better than a strut brace, so who cares?

Given the info in this thread.... https://www.driftworks.com/forum/threads/the-definitive-nissan-crossmember-thread.243198/

Specifically:

The key differences are that when compared to the standard SR crossmember,
-R33 crossmember mounts are 125mm further forward and 9mm lower as well as being roughly 15°
-R32 crossmember mounts are 125mm further forward and 5.5mm higher and are approximately the same 53°

Would the lower engine mount height not help with the engine position and weight distribution?

That really tells you nothing, you want the measurements with the engine bracket and mount attached to their respective crossmember? R32 and R33 engine brackets and mounts are different, just measuring the crossmember and going the engine will be 14.5mm lower might not be true once everything is bolted up.
