just a public service announcement: everyone is encouraged to keep their pets indoors. This is nothing to worry about and is completley safe.

edit: just checked. I can't make it. :D Today tonight is doing a story on a cracked pavement near my house for the full half hour and I am compelled to watch it because it concerns me because it's near my house.

Likewise, I like charly am staying at home to in fact the A Current Affair special investigation which is occurring funnily enough at the same time on the other channel - on the Miracle Cracked Pavement cure .. as I have a similar crack which i believe may in fact swallow the whole neighbourhood if left unchecked. I saw a bunch of oldies standing around it the other day with scared expressions on their face (or maybe it was just that they were about to poo their pants, not too sure actually). I have seen the exact same story dressed up each month in various slight variations, but i will continue to watch it anyhow. My memory is a little bad afterall, and I wouldn't want to spoil my incontinance pads.

I believe also later on they are following this up with their weekly "hoons are bad" story, so I want to watch it and see which car I should get next which will do the biggest, sickest burnout and/or doughnuts bros.. and which colour fluffy dice is cool this month.

    • Nah, turn the boost up, break the gearbox, and enjoy leaving it parked for a few years while you save for a better box...

    • Yeah I made that post way too early, sorry I must have assumed it was bad because it's a 20+ year old thrashed shitbox lol. It was just a loose exhaust bolt.
    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
