Painting rb20 cam gear cover

I’ve already done the spark plug cover in blue. Was wondering on taking off the cam gear cover on what it consists of. Is there anything to look out for on the exhaust gear with the timing sensor plugged in it.

Well, yes, you have to make sure the CAS is at the same angle.  But that's easy.  Just put a fine mark on the CAS adjustment slot next to the bolt that locks it.  Timing light is the last resort there.
